I ordered my new server (I decided not to get a VPS) and it is online now (as you can see if your reading this LOL) server not nearly as nice as the old one was but it will do for my needs. Was like pulling teeth trying to get the initial setup done lots of emails to tech-support (at the provider) due to things they did that I needed changed to my liking. As well as ordering upgrades that I forgot to order initially and ordering licensing and whatnot. All in all I Ordered the server the 4th and I got it officially online and ready to go during the day of the 11th yea I know a whole week but lots of it was waiting and twitting my thumbs lol. Needless to say I have so-far had a pleasurable experience with my new provider.. my old provider (ZipServers) was not very friendly at all and totally screwed up my server more then once during the first few days and didn`t do anything to make it worth my time.. My new provider (olm) didn`t make any mistakes and only had a few things that I had to request changed and they gladly did them for me and even comp’ed me for the inconveniences. I will never go back to ZipServers sorry I would have left them after the first month but due to different reasons I had to stick it out for nearly a year and a half.
Site for the most part is all moved over. I still got to do some tinkering with some scripts to get them working again as the server running a completely different setup from my last one. Site might have a few more hiccups but shouldn`t last very long if that happens..
Once I finish the fine tuning on the server itself (will be about a week before *everything* is moved off my old server) I will attempt to focus my attention on my new site design.. Yes the design from the start of 2007 I do *still* have it.. I need to work on the PHP for it still and my graphics designer decided he wants to make some changes to the graphics and such so yea.. look forward to the new design.. If I ever finish it.. *sigh* LOL
Ok that`s it for now im sleepy and I have spent many hours today working on the server and transferring domains and such
oh yea... I plan to start posting more often now days that`s kind of my new-years resolution see how many weeks I can keep this one.. LOL

Sorry I haven’t exactly had the time or motivation to work on this site much.. Just a recap of what has happened over the last year.
I Graduated college finely I have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science with Focus on Information Systems Security. I got a what I thought was a good job until they screwed me over and then fired me. So now im looking for a job again and currently living back in Visalia California. Working freelance jobs here and there trying to get by until I get a real job again. I have a most wonderful girlfriend who sadly I had to leave 240miles away but were making it work so far. I’m hoping for a good future with her when I get back on my feet..
As for this site… Yea I have the new layout/design.. that’s been done.. for over a year now.. but I have to sit-down and write a large amount of php before I can start using it and frankly not had the motivation to do so.. I dropped a few projects just due to lack of motivation to work on them.. and I might be getting rid of my Dedicated server due to one of my partners dropping out and I can’t afford it right now on my own.. I don’t like the idea of moving into Shared hosting again so I think I’ll get a VPS. The move over for that should happen in the next month ish.. And around that time should be some actual visible updates to Lone-Matrix.com as well as the other sites I own.. (I have plans for them all just no motivation to work on them)
Okay this is one hell of an over due posting but here we goes~!
First off! Yes!! I know the site has been broken for like the last 2 months!! But I was busy with school and other things. That and had no motivation to work on the site lol.. Any how the problem was an interesting one. Somehow I lost access to files on the ftp, the user permissions were somehow set to lock me out and ownership of the files were somehow reset to “nobody” so I finally sent in a support ticket to my host Dreamhost and they fixed it within 6 hours or so. Said they had no idea how it happened and that it was unusual. And then the next day the problem arose again. So I finally said forget it. I had started leasing a dedicated server about 3 months ago and had been meaning to move this site over to it and now I finally had a good reason to. The move over was smooth and had no problems ^_^
Now what’s next? Well folks I did it again.. I committed my self to yet another project XD AvidGeeks.org (AGO) for anyone that’s interested. The project probably wont be public for at lest a few weeks unless things go insanely smooth. This isn’t a solo project I do have a partner in it. And I am currently looking for more help.. Devs & Testers and so forth, so come by if you’re interested in helping out. Oh yea forgot to explain what the project is lol.. It will be a Computer Uptime ladder Google “uptime-project” sometime and you will understand what I mean by this. But I have more plans for the project to add more stats and such so look forward to it if your like me and like random things ^_^
Revision?? OMG?? Lone-Matrix will undergo a remodel within the next week or two if I get my butt in gear to actually do it. I am already working on the template it's mostly done but its missing things and I am not sure what. But it will replace the current layout and the backend CMS will get a partial redesign as well so I can add more stuff to the site and manage it more easily. The CMS work will be ongoing as like it always has been. Sorry no plans for much AJAX in the revision like I had planed for :-/
New sections to the site soon? When I finally get off my lazy ass and get the new template up I will also add new sections to the site. Sections to look forward too (as if you all really care).
Papers, this will consist of some of the papers I have written for my college class’s some will be meaningful some just for a good read. Sorry you can’t print them out and turn them in as your own. Lone-Matrix.com IS listed in all the major sites that instructors use to check papers against plagiarism so you can cite my work but good luck to the fool that turns in MY papers…
Downloads, sorry kiddies no Warez/Wares on Lone-Matrix. The downloads will all be freeware or shareware (mostly freeware). Just a collection of my favorite applications and such that I felt like mirroring and making available to everyone more easily.
Reviews, this section will probably remain under construction for awhile but I plan to do Reviews for random things look forward to that. Rants, yea this section exists I just plan to expand it and add a lot more to it as I seam to be good at lest at doing rants. Lol
Graduation is near!!! I am set to graduate college come March 2007 and I can’t wait.. Just hope I can pass my classes until then.. I have had nothing but GenED this term and same next term and it’s been killing me.. 14units of GenEd.. *sigh* I rather have 30units of core classes ._. But I going to the graduation here in a week because my buddy and some friends are graduating before me. *is going to be all alone on campus with no friends*

I added Google PageRank checker script.. its not mine but I modded enough of it to claim some of the work mine lol any how you can for right now pick from 7 display styles.. (hot linking is allowed for this as it’s a script generated) so feel free to use that..
Um.. I added that tiny ass hit counter under the paypal button on the left site of the page.. only reason im so proud of that is the stats script I have running on this site does not out put hits to a none admin page so I wrote a little script to fetch the hits and for the hell of it I made it generate a dynamic image so it looked smaller (actually vary small.. lol)..

Uh well i been keeping my self rather bissy lately. been hanging out at a buddys place we took an old iMac G3 and formated it and loaded it with Ubuntu (Linux) went suprisingly well.. them G3 CPU's are rather nice too.. ran alot faster then nomal 400mhz CPU's and then we started installing random applications on it as well.. but for the most part we were playing with an application called Squid.. its basicly a proxy server but we had it set up for accelerated mode so basicly everything that passed through it it downloaded a copy of it so next time it was access it didnt use the net it just served it up localy.. its supose to help with bandwidth usage for companys and such.. was kinda intresting we were up tell 5am a few nights messing with that..
Um.. my system had been acting up alot recently so i desided to format it.. and desided i might as well dual boot it as well... so im running both WinXP/Ubuntu.. yea i would have loaded Debian but i was too lazy to configure it right now so i just settled for Ubuntu if you wana see what my desktop looks like on Ubuntu.. (here) yea wallpaper is plain im changing it soon..
well lets see.. i start class agine on thursday.. so will see how that goes.. i think for now thats about it.. will post agine some other time..

Um.. oh! I think I got a job finally!! Just waiting on the background check (im clean ^_^) and that should be it.. I had to fill out about 1/2inch stack of paperwork to get the job.. O.O but its all good and its doing something I plan to do when I graduate so I look forward to it.. I just cant say where/what my job is.. hehe ^_^
Hmm oh!.. there has been a few question about the status of my scripts I said I was making… No I have not dropped them they are only on the back burner I not had the time to work on them like I did when I was starting them all o.o’ and with me starting work I will have little time once again.. but I will still work on them.. im going to try and plan on getting lest the LM Pixelz done (at lest a beta)
Lets see where to start.. oh! I finely got my license (only took 2 years o.o) now SoCal is just that much more unsafe LOL I was always one of those people that didn’t relay care whether or not I drove.. but when I moved off to college that kind of changed things lol
Lets see what else… oh started a new term.. (well its almost half over now o.o) but its kind of hard I got a few papers due soon ._. and my first class is a joke its soo pointless the instructor just babbles on about random crap and the same crap everyday in fact and it has nothing to do with the course.. AT ALL! Hmm lets see my second class.. oh that ones fun ^_^ that instructor is like everyone’s favorite it’s a communications class and well we communicate the whole time its fun lol… lets see oh my last class is Linux security that class rox too good instructor and we do some cool things and learning Linux is always good so cant go wrong there can ya? lol
Oh!! I told it seams like a lot of people about my scripts I was working on a wile back.. and now everyone is under the impression that I have dropped those projects.. I did NOT drop those projects at all I am still going to work on them.. I just have been so busy lately that I haven’t had a chance to go back and work on them.. so just keep checking back randomly I hope to have LM Pixelz v1.0 out before the end of the month. Seams many people are interested in that one.. hope it’s a hit.. right now its mostly done.. just need to write the click count portion and rework the admin panel some more and then im going to work on writing a multi user version backend for it so that I can remote host it for people of course that portion is still concept I thinks not sure if ill do it.. I have 2 sites to do for people still as well then I have another script idea I want to tackle when I have the time heh.. oh yea and LM Blogger I haven’t dropped but that’s been put on the back burner for awhile there is many ideas I have for it but I need to almost do a full rewrite of it.
there is 4 things about this site that I am sure you have noticed by now..
1. blogs now look really different from before and no longer have mouse over effects..
reason: well people said the blogs looked to plain. And that the mouse over effects were either.. dumb, blinding, annoying or old skool.. so I changed the style to something new.. see how it goes over, not sure if I like the new style or not.. I might change it again..
2. site is now centered and has no space above the header banners..
reason: it looked kind of odd to be along the left side with how wide the layout is.. and I killed the top space above the banner to make the page slightly shorter on load..
3. the top banners don’t all match the site theme..
reason: well there suppose to be like that.. I wanted the banners to be totally random the only thing in common on them are the 1pixel black border and the fact they say Lone-Matrix on them.. some of the banners are by me.. some are by other peoples.. you can notice what ones are not made by me because the person that made it usually tags there name on it.. btw I am still looking for more banners so submit one if you like..
requirements are.. 900x250 has to say Lone-Matrix or Lone Matrix and has to have a 1pixel border around it other then that it can be anything of any theme just try to keep it safe for kiddies lol
4. this site is not updated often and when it is.. it is a lot and I don’t seam to blog regularly lol
reason: well I work on this site in my spare time when I am not working on other projects.. and I blog in my free time or when I am just board or something.. like I have said before I am a full time college student and also working on getting a job :/ and when I get the chance to I play online games MMORPGs is my current addiction so that takes up a lot of time lol..
any how now for the other stuff..
I finely was able to order DSL~!!! “yay!” *jumps around the room* I got to order it on Sunday and if all goes well (its verizon so im not expecting it to -.-) I *should* have service by the 6th of next month ^_^ know what that means?? I get to be online more often again like I use to and might mean more updates to this site.. woot!

LM Blogger I haven’t gotten much feedback on so that will stay as it is for now. As I have started yet *another* script as you will notice I will do a lot most likely.. any how.. the current script I am working on is called.. “LM Pixelz” ya ya I know sounds lame and yes all the scripts im writing will start with “LM” in the name lol.. any how
LM Pixelz is based on MillionDollarWebpage.com and no I didn’t steal the source code.. I wrote 100% of it from scratch with the exception for the JavaScripts (I found and moded those) the concept is original as well.. your thinking.. “No its not you just said it was based on the MDW site” no my concept is little different. Is none profit and not meant for anyone to earn money from its for fun only.. you know the taggers or also known as shoutboxs that many sites have? We this is based on that concept but mixed with MDW concept.. its basically a pixel tagger or pixel shout box.. it will be as easy at adding an iframe to your site to include it. Its powered by PHP/MSQL as well ^_^ I think I will be offering a remotely hosted version of it as well once I get that part figured out.. ^_^

I added “User Agreement” by illWillPress and ”Switch To Linux” clips to the flash section.. you should keep watch on that section as I will often make additions to it with out posting about it..
well for a basic start off i added a few games and a clip to the flash section..

um.. well weather was realy realy weird today.. it was all over cast with dark almost black clouds all day.. and the strange part about it was.. we prob hit 70F and is was sunny.. how do you get black skys with a sun out??? im so clueless on that one.. and as night came.. it got chilly and the skys cleared up.. *sigh*
i got class agine tomarrow ya~!! not -.- *sigh* college is soo dull after awile. good part theres alot of new chicks around campus.. bad part.. they arnt in any of my class's ._. well linux class is going smoothly and nothing to complain about there.. learning some cool stuff and getting to play with a non Micro$hit OS when i get more use to it i plan to load it on my desktop aswell rather then on one of my many many play computers.. as far as my other class goes.. beh~ is all i can say.. i realy dont get why im spending so much money on such a usless class..*sigh*
uhhh.. well i been tossing around ideas for my site i have had a few complaints that it was too plain.. so i need to jazz it up alittle i guess.. but not sure what to do.. i think ill change the formating of the blog posts (prob do this after class tomarrow) i just got a few ideas on how to jazz up the nav alittle so i might work on that as well tomarrow.. im debating on adding a tagger or not.. those tend to get flooded alot.. as well as abused and exploited -.- i realy cant think of anything else at the moment to do.. so drop me a line if you have ideas.. can contact me from the contact section.. im also intrested in link swaping aswell if you got a nice site.

ok i have writen the backend, admin panel, and frontend.. the site is now using mysql~! ^_^ i need to do some more work on my features on the admin panel to make bloging easyer and more userfriendly.. as well as finish some sections on it that i have yet to even start.. ._. uh.. the frontend (site you see) is mostly done.. i think i might need to change a few things in the code part.. so if the site has some downs its cus im working on that.. and see how the server holds up with my code.. dono if i went over board with the mysql calls or not so eather my host going to be pissed at me or the site works.. lol eather way im happy i fianly got at lest a testing version of this done .. i been wanting to have a custom set up like this for years and never could find a script i liked enuf to use..
somethings to take note of.. the new layout design is for higher res desktops.. so if things seam realy big to you.. im sorry but the site was made to look good on a 1024x768 or higher desktop.. the header banners are random on each page load i will eventuly add more to that but for now there is only 4 or so.. if you would like to design a header or so for the site contact me and ill get back to you with details on that.. ummm oh you might notice the hit counter is now gone.. i switched to a stats script for now cus the counter i use to use had problems with my code so they conflicted once i get everything going smooth and finsh some other projects im i need to get done i will write my own hit counter and stats script as part of my site so that i will be running only one script rather then many..
status of the public beta script im to release.. sorry >_< this has been cancled!.. j/k no actuly i have had to put a pause on my development on that script due to working on the custom one for this site.. as well as working on 2 other custom ones for other sites.. so as soon as this site is at lest stable.. and i get the other 2 sites done im working on.. ill continue development on the public version of the script.. and try to have at lest a basic beta of that out A.S.A.P. whenever that might be.. heh
to add to things.. once i have finshed my goals above i want to start more development on my site possably adding a tagger and more content and such.. and in the mist of all that.. i want to start a few other scripts.. that i would plan on releasing pubilc..and im also debating on starting some other projects simuler. to xfire and Uptime-Project.net but i need to find some programmers first befor i start those projects.. and i dont know that im ready to tackel projects of those scales just quite yet..
well it is vary late now.. or vary early.. wichever you prefer..so im going to hit the sac and see if i can get some sleep as well as ponder some ideas i have and brainstorm some other projects i might was to tackel when i am able to.. oh yea and i added "Dont Touch That" to the flash clips section as well.. ^_^
